My beliefs
I believe that every child deserves the right to be happy at school, to have a sense of belonging and connection to their school community.
I believe that every teacher deserves to be happy in their work and to have the support, emotional agility, techniques and tools to be successful at their job.
I believe that if we truly understand a child’s behaviour, that if we really see it for what it is, if we as educators have the self-awareness and knowledge to meet that challenge then the learning experience improves and the teaching experience becomes what you truly want it to be.
My Vision
My business will reach every school in the country to ensure all members of the school community, staff, students, parents and stakeholders are all aware and sensitive to Trauma Informed practices. We will operate with Courage, Authenticity and integrity at all times. Showing kindness and compassion. My vision is that all educators understand Adverse Childhood experiences and understand how trauma impacts on children and their ability to learn. To foster strategies and process knowledge to improve their own practice. That teachers are fully engaged with their own emotional agility and well being to enable them to become the best versions of themselves.
